Secret Photo Spots in Chinatown | Nikon Z 8 | Singapore Night Photography

How familiar are you with Singapore’s Chinatown? Whether you’re local or tourist, Chinatown is packed with photographic opportunities. Here you can find not only rustic spots for street photography, but also fantastic places to photograph the sunset with some awesome cityscape scenes.

In this video I show off my favourite places to take photographs in Chinatown with my Nikon Z 8. We start off with the Chinese New Year decorations and lights at the iconic Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, take some timelapses and long exposures of the CNY bazaar, some architecture and reflection photography at People’s Park Complex and end off blending light trails off a car park at People’s Park Center.

Over 50 exposures were blended for this image. Nikon Z 8, Z 14-30mm F4 S.

I also share which focal length to use to photograph the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, as well as my exact settings for light trail photography. In-depth location guides on how to get to the specific photo spots are shown in the video.
