Pixel Shift Photography | Nikon Z 8 | NX Studio

Nikon just released Firmware 2.0, which comes with a host of exciting improvements and upgrades to the Nikon Z 8. One of the new additions to the camera is Pixel Shift Photography, and I've decided to give it a spin with some landscape/cityscape photography.

During the shoot, I explore if it's possible to have moving objects in the frame during pixel shift photography, and what actually happens if there's movement captured in the exposure.

I also go through the entire process of editing in NX Studio and importing into Adobe Lightroom.

Nikon’s NX Studio arranges your pixel shift images for you, no need to take a photo of your hand to sort the series of images! Did I mention NX Studio is also absolutely free and available as a download?
